Transfer KTA From a Base Wallet to Alpaca

If you already hold KTA on Base (for example in MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any other Base-compatible wallet), you can move those tokens directly into your Alpaca Wallet.
Since Alpaca uses a non-custodial Keeta wallet, the moment your KTA arrives on your Keeta address, it’s instantly available for trading inside the Alpaca app.
In the near future, the Base deposit address will be shown directly inside the Alpaca app, so you won’t need to use the Keeta Wallet for this step anymore.

Follow the steps below:

1. Log in to Your Keeta Wallet #

Start by opening wallet.keeta.com.

You can either:

  • Create a new wallet there, or
  • Import an existing one, if you created one via Alpaca, by entering your seed phrase.

In this example, the wallet was first created inside the Alpaca app, and the seed phrase was then copied into wallet.keeta.com to access the same account.

2. Open the Receive Menu #

Inside wallet.keeta.com:

  1. Tap “Receive.”
  2. Select “Keeta Network.”
  3. In the window that appears, choose “Keeta (KTA) From Base.”

This will show you the Keeta address that accepts KTA transfers coming from Base.

3. Copy Your Deposit Address #

You will now see your Keeta deposit address for KTA.

Click the copy icon (📄 two stacked sheets) to copy the address.
Alternatively, the QR code can be scanned directly from your Base wallet.

Now go to your Base wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.):

  • Open the Send function
  • Select KTA
  • Paste the copied address (or scan the QR code)
  • Confirm the transfer

Transfers from Base to Keeta usually arrive within ~15 seconds.

4. Check Your Balance on Alpaca #

Because your Alpaca Wallet and your Keeta Wallet are the same non-custodial account, you don’t have to do anything else.

As soon as the KTA arrives at wallet.keeta.com, it will also appear in the Alpaca app automatically.
You can now use your KTA to trade with any token supported on Alpaca.

5. View Your Token Breakdown #

To see all tokens you hold on your wallet inside the Alpaca app:

  • Tap your KTA balance on the main screen.

This opens a full breakdown showing every token stored in your wallet, including your KTA and any other assets.

LP Tokens
If you are a token creator you will also see the LP tokens you hold for the tokens you created.
As soon as Liquidity Pool Provision has been added to Alpaca and thus LP token trading is available, the LP balance will appear as actually tradeable tokens as well.
