Alpaca DEX Alpaca
Identity & Trust

Prove who you are. Keep what's private.

Alpaca's optional KYC and KYB verification uses Keeta's on-chain certificate system — cryptographic proofs, not document uploads. One click to verify, one click to revoke, portable across every Keeta-native platform.

How It Works

KYC without the pain.

On most platforms, KYC means uploading passport photos, selfies, and proof of address — then waiting hours or days for manual review. On Alpaca, the entire flow happens in-app. Click the KYC button, pick your country, complete verification with a Keeta identity provider, and you're done.

Already have a Keeta KYC certificate from another platform? Even easier — the wallet extension reads it from the blockchain and shares the verified data automatically. There is nothing to type, nothing to upload, no external sites to visit.

Your certificate lives on-chain. It's yours. You verify once, and every Keeta-native platform recognizes it instantly — no re-uploading documents, no per-platform verification.

No forms. No uploads. No waiting.

1

Use Cases

What verification unlocks for you.

KYC on Alpaca isn't a gate — it's a tool. Creators use it to build trust and control who participates. Buyers use it to filter for legitimacy.

Trust Badge for Your Token

A KYC badge next to your token tells buyers: there is a real, verified person behind this project. In a market full of anonymous launches and rug pulls, that signal converts to investment. Verified creators raise faster and attract more buyers.

Gate Your Investors

Require KYC from anyone who wants to invest during your fundraise or add liquidity. Every participant is accountable, not just the creator. Build a trusted, identifiable community from day one.

Per-Person Launchpad Limits

Set trading limits during the launchpad phase that apply per person, not per wallet. With on-chain KYC, a whale can't split across 50 wallets to bypass caps — the identity is the limit, not the address. Fair distribution by design.

Filter by Verification

Buyers can filter the Alpaca Explorer to show only tokens from verified creators. If trust matters to your investment strategy, you can browse exclusively within verified projects — no guesswork.

Hash Commitments

Each attribute is stored on-chain as hash(value + salt). The value is hidden, but anyone can verify it matches the commitment — provably authentic.

Badge Only — No Data Exposed

Buyers see a verification badge. That's it. No name, no country, no email. Personal data is never displayed publicly.

Double Encryption at Rest

Verified data encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage, plus Google's infrastructure encryption. Unreadable without the encryption key.

Fully Revocable

Revoke your shared data at any time with a single click. Data is deleted from Alpaca's systems. The badge is removed. Your on-chain certificate remains yours.

Privacy First

Prove identity without exposing it.

Traditional KYC systems ask you to trust that the platform verified the data correctly. On Keeta, the KYC certificate stores each attribute as a cryptographic hash commitment on-chain. When you share your data, anyone can mathematically verify the values match the on-chain commitments — proving the data came from the KYC issuer, not fabricated by the user or the platform.

No photos, no selfies, no biometric data are ever stored by Alpaca. Only verified attributes — name, email, date of birth, country — are kept, encrypted at rest. No personal data is displayed publicly. The badge is the only visible signal.

The trade-off is simple: you share verified data with Alpaca (encrypted, never public) in exchange for a trust signal that helps you attract buyers. You can undo this at any time.

For Businesses

KYB — Know Your Business.

KYC verifies individuals. KYB verifies businesses. When Keeta releases KYB certificates, Alpaca will support them from day one — giving registered companies, DAOs, and organizations the same on-chain verification that individual creators already have.

A KYB-verified business launching a token carries a different weight than an anonymous wallet. Investors know there's a registered entity behind the project — with legal accountability, not just a pseudonym. For utility tokens, tokenized assets, and real-world business applications, this is essential.

Same privacy principles as KYC: cryptographic proofs, badge-only public display, revocable sharing, and portable certificates across the Keeta ecosystem. The only difference is the entity type — a business instead of an individual.

Registered Entity Verification

Verify your company, DAO, or organization through Keeta's KYB anchor providers. On-chain proof that a real business exists behind the token.

Same Privacy Model

Cryptographic proofs, encrypted storage, badge-only display. Business details are never exposed publicly — only the verified status.

Portable Across Keeta

Like KYC, the KYB certificate lives on-chain. Verify once, recognized everywhere in the Keeta ecosystem.

KYB support will be available as soon as Keeta releases KYB certificates

The Difference

Not your typical KYC.

Most platforms treat KYC as a gate. Alpaca treats it as a trust tool — optional, privacy-preserving, and controlled entirely by the user.

Optional, Not Required

No KYC required to use Alpaca. You can trade, create tokens, and participate in launches without verifying. KYC is a tool for those who want the trust signal — not a barrier.

Verify Once, Use Everywhere

Your certificate lives on the Keeta blockchain. Any Keeta-native platform recognizes it instantly. No re-uploading, no per-platform verification. One identity, every platform.

Cryptographic, Not Trust

Values are proven via on-chain hash commitments — mathematically verifiable, not based on trusting the platform. No document uploads, no selfies, no biometric data stored.
